Ninja Science Academy

For Schools

Awaken your students' inner scientist.

Let's face the truth

Getting students to stay focused is tough.

Short attention spans

Live science demos pull focus back. Hands-on experiments turn distraction into learning students can feel.

Lack of motivation

Real-world demos make science come alive — sparking enthusiasm and a deeper connection to what they're studying.

Overstimulation from tech

Mindfulness practice gives students a screen-free reset. Less anxiety, more presence, better engagement.

The stage show

Ninja Science Academy Show

A personal history of the Universe — with your students front and center

Eight sections of live science, movement, breathwork, and wonder — built to leave kids with tools they actually use.

1

Atoms are Everywhere

What the Universe is made of

We look at a balloon like we've never seen it before. We learn about atoms by blowing it up and letting it fly all over the place. At the end we pop the balloon and work as a group to figure out why it makes that distinctive sound.

2

Dance Party — Igniting Energy

Oxygen, blood flow, and its effect on cognition

Everyone gets moving! A freestyle Dance Party sets the tone of joy and free expression. Students and teachers get their hearts pumping and their jitters out so that sitting and listening becomes pleasurable. In tightly packed rooms we substitute a breathing exercise.

3

Floating Ideas — The Power of Air

Thinking through the behavior of atoms

We use a hair dryer to float a ping-pong ball on a stream of air and challenge ourselves to use only our minds to figure out why. Once students solve the puzzle, volunteers run a relay race passing the floating ball down the line and back.

4

Magic through Chemistry

Molecules and how magic affects consciousness

We perform two magic tricks and encourage students to pay attention to the feeling in their brain. The feeling of magic becomes the object of our study. We also learn the true nature of fire.

5

Ninja Games

Building grit and how to work as a team

Time for the audience to become ninjas-in-training! Quick reflex and balance games build agility, focus, discipline, and teamwork. Science meets movement, and kids (and parents!) feel their inner ninja awaken.

6

Free Flowing Energy

Electricity and heat

We learn E=mc² through a tesla coil. We turn the lights off and pure electricity flows like lightning out of the coil and into a metal pan. We make mini thunder claps, light a fluorescent bulb, and burn flash paper.

7

Wim Hof Breathing Break

Control over our own minds

Before the final experiments, we guide the audience into Wim Hof–style breathwork: deep, rhythmic breathing that energizes the body and clears the mind. A single round lasts only 3 minutes — where science, wellness, and mastery come together.

8

Dry Ice Finale!

Cold, phase change, and wonder

We experiment with dry ice and think about how cold outer space is. We freeze boiling water in 10 seconds, make a cloud in a bottle, and figure out why. Then as a group we give one loud Ninja Scientist cheer!

For Preschools & Early Childhood

Unleash your students' potential beyond the school day

Our afterschool program combines Know Your Universe and Find Your Zen — hands-on science, movement, music, leadership, and sound healing.

After School Workshops

  • Generate core memories with hands-on science experiments
  • Polish critical thinking skills with group logic and brain games
  • Empowers students with questions about the Universe
  • Train your body to excel and keep up with your mind

In School Workshops

  • Enhances critical thinking and nurtures natural curiosity
  • Encourages conceptual learning by engaging with playful, sensory-rich experiences
  • Bridges the gap between concrete learning and abstract ideas

Rocket Building & Launch

Garret Rhea

A crash course in Know Your Universe — atoms and E=mc² — then rocket engineering and physics. Students launch different rockets and build one to take home.

Dynamic Movement Journey through Dance

Shivani Rhea

Free movement, rhythm, and a dance party exploring the 7 Fundamentals of Movement: endurance, flexibility, power, strength, agility, speed, and balance.

Find Your Voice

Garret Rhea

Vocal warmups, circle of fifths, music theory through singing, and joyful sing-alongs that build confidence and connection.

Know Your Universe Part 1: Levels 1–3

Foundations of Thought, Energy, and the Cosmos

Thought, the birth of the Universe, and stars — through hands-on experiments, music, and creative play.

Know Your Universe Part 2: Levels 4–6

Worlds, Life, and Human Story

Planets, life, and human evolution — dry ice clouds, weather experiments, biosphere explorations, and ethics.

Know Your Universe Part 3: Levels 7–9

Technology, Society, and Self-Mastery

Rockets, lasers, microscopes, social-emotional science, and collaborative art and music.

Unleash the Ninja Within You

Shivani Rhea

Leadership development combining ninja mindset training, leadership games, obstacle courses, and mind-body connection.

Sound Healing

Shivani & Garret Rhea

Frequently asked

Questions, answered

Our stage shows are built for K–8 students and adapt on the fly to the age range in the room. The science, ninja games, and breathwork all scale up or down so every child — and every teacher — stays engaged.

The 'Ninja' is the discipline: martial-arts-inspired focus, breathwork, and self-mastery woven through every experience. Quick-reflex games, presence practices, and movement build the grit and self-control that make the science stick.

A standard stage show runs 45–90 minutes depending on your space and schedule. We tailor the run-time, number of demos, and interactive moments to your audience.

Breathwork and mindful movement give students a screen-free reset — less anxiety, more presence, and better engagement. Students learn practical tools they can carry home to manage stress and improve focus.

Absolutely. Every section is flexible — seated alternatives, breathing exercises, and adjustable participation mean every child can take part in a way that works for them. Let us know your needs and we'll adapt.

Single stage shows start at $700, with bundle pricing for multiple shows and district-wide tours. We regularly run seasonal promotions — reach out and we'll put together a tailored proposal.
